ABOUT Trey Clue

Trey Clue is an audio engineer, photographer, videographer, graphic designer, and recording artist based in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is currently a studio manager and audio engineer at If We Die We Die (IWDWD) Studios in Cincinnati, OH. He also works as a freelance audio technician, videographer, photographer, and graphic designer. He has a Bachelor’s in Electronic Media and Broadcasting with a minor in Media Informatics from Northern Kentucky University.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, to two creative parents, Trey Clue has been drawn to music and the arts from a young age. Clue grew up playing and recording instruments, and played classical and jazz clarinet for 7+ years. With the help of after-school programs and extracurricular activities, he was exposed to beat production and DJing at a very young age. Eventually, Clue took up MCing after having a long-time infatuation with poetry. He would record his music at home, which led to him becoming an audio engineer for his peers and others.

Trey Clue interned for Blacklite Productions (located in Cincinnati, OH) as an audio engineer while attending Northern Kentucky University. He went on to work at Timeless Recording Studio. At Timeless, he was given the unique opportunity to work alongside world-famous artists such as Big Freedia, IShowSpeed, Skylar Blatt, and many more. After working and excelling in his field, Clue moved to Chicago, IL, to work for Encore Global as an audiovisual technician and the Major Studio as an audio engineer. He later moved back to Cincinnati, OH, to work at IWDWD and to be closer to family.

Clue currently belongs to a music group composed of a close-knit group of multi-talented creatives called Good Vibes Only Entertainment LLC (G.V.O.). With G.V.O., he performs locally around Cincinnati, OH, and has made a name for himself as a ferocious all-around threat when it comes to music and content creation.
